Read MoreAfter visiting Retro Alacant 2017 we’d like to make a small balance of what we could see there and that we’d like or wish it could be Retro Alacant 2018, if we’re allowed to give our opinion. We believe that the place where it has been carried out is very well located, although we believe it was small. It would have been nice if there had been more area destined for the indie teams, more area for exhibition of retro platforms and more area for arcades The part destined to stores, to the conferences and the level of the speakers and signers was very well and approved with very good note. Spidey, Samudio, Azpiri and CommodoreSpain make already big any event and Retro Alacant 2017 has been in essence them. But personally we miss much more space for the other parts commented. We believe that if it had occupied twice the surface, it would have been much better. We imagine that this could not be possible and that the coordinators and organizers would have liked to have the entire Las Cigarreras complex for themselves. From here we congratulate them and wish that the following year can be a...
Read MoreOn 29 and 30 April we visited the RetroMadrid 2017 event, which we had been looking forward to for a long time and finally we were able to go. We’re there on Saturday, the entrance was free and the wait for very short access. The event was divided into several floors, the plant accessed was occupied by several stands belonging to associations and developers for the platforms Spectrum, Amstrad, Msx and Commodore, along with others belonging to creators of hardware for these platforms or related. In the center was the artist Azpiri signing his creations and covers. There was also an area dedicated to the presentation of a physical magazine and another area where a postcad was broadcast live. On the top floor was the area dedicated to the arcades and on the 2 lower floors was located the area of microcomputer exhibitions, the exhibition of illustrations by David Saavedra and another on Advertising in video games. Finally 3 rooms in these plants were intended for the realization of workshops and conferences. We’re able to see an enormous amount of games belonging to the Scene and to the Homebrew realized in Spain, of great quality and that if by us had been we’d have brought them all. The experience was very good and we hope to repeat it many more...
